1. Terms & Conditions

These ‘Terms & Conditions’ apply to persons purchasing products as well as those visiting the website. By registering on this website, you give Numelec Ltd your consent to the processing of personal information as defined in our Privacy Policy.

Numelec Ltd reserves the right to modify these ‘Terms and Conditions’ at any time at its sole discretion.

Reproduction, distribution, transfer, sale, and publication of any product from the website is not permitted. The prior written approval of Numelec Ltd must be obtained before copying, distributing, transmitting or publishing any product from the website, whether electronically or otherwise.

2. Capacity to contract

The user should have the required legal capacity to enter into and be bound by a contract to make any online purchase on the Website under the laws of Mauritius.

To register an account and also purchase from the Website, the user must be of majority age, in other words above 18 (eighteen) years old. An account registered on the Website can only be in the name of one person at a time. Personal information must be kept accurate and updated.

The user is responsible for all activities and orders placed under the registered account held.

3. Registration Policy

The Registration Policy must be read in conjunction with the Numelec Ltd ‘Terms & Conditions’ stated therein. Users are free to browse the website without registration, but registration is mandatory for the following:

  • Opening an online account
  • Making online Purchase
  • Receipt of newsletters and exclusive offers
The following details are required for the registration process:
  • Name
  • NIC Number
  • Phone number
  • Postal address
  • A valid e-mail address (e-mail address will be used for identification purposes, for sending notifications and electronic receipts)

Username or email address and password are used for log-in on the website
account.

4.Agreement for online account on the Website:

  • Numelec Ltd will use reasonable endeavors to protect customer’s information submitted to the Website, from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction.
  • User account details (username, password) must be kept secured.
  • User must bear all responsibility when authorizing a third party to place an online order on the user account.
  • The user acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for the accuracy and correctness of all information provided during the registration process.
  • Numelec Ltd will be hold harmless from any claim and/or loss arising from any incorrect information provided by the customer when registering on the website.

5.Payment Methods

Payment is made in local currency (Mauritian Rupee).

MasterCard, Visa Card, POP and cash payment can be used when choosing the in-store pick-up delivery method.

Debit Cards and Credit Card are accepted when online payment is made through MIPS. All payment is secured by SSL (Secure Socket Layer). The website processes payment through MIPS MyPay who does not store card details. MIPS My Pay is a PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant payment ecosystem.

Numelec Ltd does not store any credit card information. Online payment transactions are completely secure and payments are processed through secured servers of the bank itself which encrypt credit card details. Numelec Ltd does not encrypt any data from credit card. When purchasing online at https://numelecltd.com , contact details, such as name, address and email address are collected to enable processing an order, confirm and dispatch emails to client.

Important: It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify, under 48 hours, that payment has been well done.

No reclamation can be made after 48 hours.

6. Prices

All prices include VAT at the rate in effect at the time of your order.

Numelec Ltd reserves the right to modify prices at any time at his sole discretion, while guaranteeing the application of the price at the time the order is placed and confirmed on the Website.

When ordering, the product description must be reviewed carefully, product pictures must only be used as guide.

7. Offers and Promotions

In the event of a promotion indicated on the website, Numelec Ltd. undertakes to apply the promotional prices to any order confirmed during the promotional period.

8. Delivery Methods

Door-to-Door Delivery

For door-to-door delivery the following path is required:

  • Place order online
  • Select ‘door-to-door delivery’
  • Select Online payment method in the shopping cart
  • Complete ‘Billing Details’ form
  • Select ‘Place Order’

When payment has been confirmed and order number received on the Order Complete page, Numelec Ltd undertakes to deliver the order within 3 working days between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.

To complete the ‘Billing Details’ form the following information must be inserted:

  • Names
  • NIC number
  • Phone number
  • Postal address for delivery
  • E-mail address

The complete postal address where the products will be delivered must be inserted on the ‘Billing Details’ form. Only one delivery address is permitted per order placed. 

Numelec Ltd Online Store delivers for free when the order is greater or equal to Rs.3,500.00*. If the order value is less than Rs.3,500.00*, a delivery fee of Rs. 200.00 will be applied.

 * Size limit for above does not exceed 80cmx80cmx80cm. 

For order above 5Kg and over size limit as stated above, Numelec Ltd will issue a quotation.

Please note that all products are visually checked before delivery and we always pack with great care.

In the event that the product ordered is out of stock, Numelec Ltd will inform the client immediately by email or by a phone call and a refund or an exchange will be granted by Numelec Ltd. 

Delivery of ordered items is made only across Mauritius.

 

Pick-up in store

Numelec Ltd offers pick-up in store and the collection of ordered products are on working days during store opening hours between 8:30am. and 5:00pm. on weekdays and between 8:30am and 12:00 on Saturday.

When placing an online order, select the ‘cash on delivery’ payment method for pick-up in store delivery in the ‘shopping cart page’ and select ‘place order’. The order number will be received on the ‘Order Complete page’ and a notification will be sent when order is ready for pick-up.

8. Cancellation of Order & Refund Policy

For purchased product, the client may cancel the order within 24 hours following the purchase by calling Numelec Ltd Customer Care on 211-3182 or by sending an e-mail through the ‘CONTACT US’ page mentioning the order number as well as the reason for the purchase cancelation. For each canceled order, a fee of 5% on the purchase amount will be charged to the client.

9. Exchange or Refund Policy

The exchange or refund of the product can be made: –

  • If the client notices that the delivery package is not sealed or damaged at the time of delivery.
  • In the event of a mismatch between the product ordered and the product delivered.

The client must not accept the delivery and must immediately return the product(s) to the Numelec Ltd delivery person. 

The client must inform Numelec Ltd within 24 hours of delivery on 211-3182 or by sending an e-mail through the ‘CONTACT US’ page mentioning the order number. 

The second delivery of the product will depend on the stock availability, if available the product will be delivered within 4 working days.

Once the product(s) is sold and delivery is accepted, no refund or exchange of product(s) is possible.

10. Cookies policy

Numelec Ltd automatically collect certain personal information such as the Customer’s IP address, browser type and the URLs of the sites from which the user arrives or leaves the website. A cookie is a small data file that resides on the Customer’s computer or mobile phone or another device and allows Numelec Ltd to recognize the Customer when they return to the Site using the same computer and internet browser.

  • If the client notices that the delivery package is not sealed or damaged at the time of delivery.
  • In the event of a mismatch between the product ordered and the product delivered.

Numelec Ltd may use the personal information in the following ways:

  • In the event of offers and promotions that Numelec Ltd may offer, by sending the details by email to the user.
  • To contact the user regarding account status, changes to the terms and conditions and other matters relevant to the underlying service.
  • For transaction requests and delivery of ordered products.
  • For legal requirements where Numelec Ltd may disclose the personal information, in response to law enforcement authority or other government official request, when there are investigations on activities related to suspicious transactions among others.

11. User comments and Feedback Policy

You agree that your comments will not include copyright, trademark, privacy or proprietary rights. You further agree that your comments will not contain any computer virus that is otherwise unlawful or could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false e-mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us as to the origin of any comments. No specified update will be applied to the website and will appear to indicate that information on the Website has been modified or updated.

The use of or inability to use the website is at sole risk of the user.

User agrees that from time-to-time Numelec Ltd may remove the products for indefinite periods or cancel the product at any time, without notice.
